In my role at Proximus Media House, I manage the comprehensive recording, archiving, streaming, and administration of all media content produced by PMH and its clients. My primary focus is capturing a diverse range of sporting events, including Belgian and European football, volleyball, hockey, cycling, and basketball, utilizing tools like EVS IP-Director and various streaming platforms to ensure seamless execution.
As the technical producer for Eleven, I played a key role in the successful execution of the groundbreaking Cage Warriors MMA event at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp. From the OB Van, I managed graphics, video elements, and timings, guaranteeing a flawless production. This opportunity highlighted my commitment to delivering excellence, and it inspires me to continue contributing to impactful projects in the future.
For the European Ideas Forum, I worked with Bluemoon to deliver seamless visual and technical support across the event. My role included curating all content for the LED walls, ensuring visuals were correctly formatted and optimized for display. I also handled video playout during the event, managing the flow of the show and delivering content to screen in sync with the live program.
In addition, I managed remote speaker integration—making sure virtual participants were connected smoothly and their contributions were technically sound. I supported the streaming crew throughout, helping to maintain a consistent, high-quality broadcast experience.
In collaboration with Novid and Balthazar Events, I played a key role in celebrating the 25th anniversary of Belgian telecom giant Orange. The event featured an impressive LED wall and delay screens set up within a spacious tent at De Schorre in Boom. We seamlessly integrated the pictures of the on-site photographers into the show, while I managed the mixing of all visuals on the screens. This immersive event showcased our expertise in delivering exceptional results.
At MDL Beast, the pioneering dance festival in the Saudi Arabian desert, my PRG team and I constructed the Techno stage. Integrating 18 LED screens into shipping containers, we created a stunning visual experience. Enduring desert conditions, we built and configured the stage for use with Resolume software. Our efforts culminated in a synchronized LED display, a testament to our collaboration. Contributing to this historic event was unforgettable, showcasing our ability to bring visionary projects to life.
I contribute actively to Salesforce Live, the flagship event organized by Salesforce Belgium, with production support provided by Blue Moon. This annual gathering serves as a vital platform for innovation, collaboration, and connection within the Salesforce community.
During this event, I manage videomixing operations across multiple setups, including an advanced 3-projector blend and a multi-LED wall configuration to deliver seamless and captivating visual experiences. After the main keynotes, attendees participate in three simultaneous workshops using silent disco headphones, where I efficiently coordinate all sessions in parallel.
Being part of this dynamic event on a yearly basis is an incredible experience. I look forward to continuing to bring value and create impactful experiences at every edition of Salesforce Live.
As an MCR operator at VRT, I ensure smooth and reliable broadcasting for Belgium’s national audience. My role involves switching, monitoring, and streaming all incoming feeds, utilizing technologies such as satellite links, microwave transmissions, and internet streaming to deliver high-quality content. Collaborating with teams across sports, news, and TV productions, I guarantee that all departments have quick and easy access to the files and feeds they need to create exceptional programming.
Beyond daily operations, I am actively involved in VRT’s exciting transition to a new building equipped with cutting-edge technology. I contribute to shaping this future by supporting the implementation of innovative solutions that will enhance the broadcaster’s efficiency and adapt to evolving industry demands. Through my work, I help VRT maintain its reputation for delivering outstanding content to viewers nationwide.
Together with AllRent, I was integral to powering the renowned BAM Marketing Congress. Our innovative setups, featuring LED Walls and Projector Blends, created immersive visual experiences. As the curator of content for the LED screens, I managed every detail, including a striking setup with over 8 million pixels. Working closely with keynote speakers, we ensured seamless content delivery, perfectly aligning with their vision. With a focus on enhancing attendee experience, I was dedicated to pushing the boundaries of event technology in every project.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, I supported VideoCrew in producing livestreamed performances for the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra. As chief technician, I managed all audio and video signals, ensuring top-notch quality. It was fulfilling to facilitate cultural enrichment despite the challenges of the time, and I'm eager for more chances to innovate and bring art to global audiences.
